Celebrity Odd Couple: Harry Potter's Emma Watson connected with Marilyn Manson
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is out in movie theaters world wide since July 15, 2009. Young actress Emma Watson, who plays the most brilliant witch of our times, has recently been connected as the second half of a dark and scary odd couple rumor. It seems the hot teen celebrity has been hanging around none other than Marilyn Manson and here's why.
Manson and Watson have not connected as a celebrity dating couple that we know about, despite Manson's proclivity to date barely legal and twenty-something young girls. They have connected on an acting project Manson is directing -- a short film version of a dark theme Cinderella -- and Watson has agreed to play a starring role.
Perhaps hoping to shift her image to one that is more adult in nature, Watson (Hermione) is making a project decision here that will either greatly help or strongly hurt her. Public opinion is a fickle tide, and one wave of cloudy reports washing in too quickly can easily damage the reputation of any aspiring starlet. In Miss Granger's case, time and tasteful film making skills will be the only thing that will tell whether or not the HP audience is ready to accept Emma Watson in a mature role, or if they prefer to keep her boxed into the image of playing a sweet young "that girl".
All we can do is hope and pray if Marilyn Manson takes our sweet little Emma from us for his own personal use as the other strange news half of this odd couple, that at the very least he'll be gentle.
